AB Enzymes shifts North American headquarters

AB Enzymes has announced that it is moving its North American headquarters to Columbus, Ohio in a move intended to improve customer service by strengthening the sales team and bringing it together with support staff.

The North American headquarters was previously located in Fort Mill, North Carolina but the company said the move would not affect staffing levels.

Joerg Koehler, sales director for the Americas region said: “The new location at the facilities of our sister company, Abitec Corporation, will bring us a well equipped office environment and proximity to all relevant supporting functions. With sales and sales support under one roof we have laid the foundation for our plans for accelerated growth and superior customer service in the North American region.”

Koehler added that customer service would also be strengthened through a new sales structure, which was put into practice on June 23.

He told FoodNavigator-USA.com that before the move “sales, customer service and logistics were in different locations. They will now be centralized in one location allowing faster and more effective response to customers.”

AB Enzymes supplies its products to more than 50 countries and is part of ABF Ingredients Group, a subsidiary of Associated British Foods. Abitec Corp is also part of the ABF Ingredients Group.
