AB Enzymes has been making moves to strengthen its presence in the United States in recent months, and in July it entered into another partnership for distribution of its baking enzymes throughout the US and Canada. This latest agreement is part of its strategy to accelerate growth and improve its customer service in the US, the company said.
COO and technical director at BioSun FFI Mark Messersmith said in a statement: “We were looking for a strategic partner who was a reliable, stable and basic manufacturer of enzymes who also had a mission to provide exceptional customer service with a wide variety of products and applications that would complement the vast application skills BioSun FFI exhibits.”
BioSun also provides a range of flavors, colors and other food ingredients, and it said that the new partnership with AB Enzymes will enable it to serve its customers more efficiently.
AB Enzymes supplies its products to more than 50 countries and is part of ABF Ingredients Group, a subsidiary of Associated British Foods. No one from the company was available to provide further information on the partnership prior to publication.
