Bar35 makes a comeback with a lucky ticket for five winners as company continues anniversary celebrations and a launch of new ecommerce website.

Lake Champlain Chocolates’ (LCC), the innovative and independent artisan chocolate producer, is releasing a special ‘Encore’ version of its popular Bar35 to keep the party going after a successful run sponsoring the Burlington Discover Jazz Festival.

Both the festival and LCC celebrated their 35th anniversaries this year.

In conjunction with the limited release Encore bar, a ‘Sweetest Hits Sweepstakes’ will run with five bars that have a special autographed message inside the wrapper from LCC founder Jim Lampman. If customers find a wrapper with the message ‘Congrats, you won!- Jim’, you are a winner!

They can claim a prize of over $280 worth of chocolate, after taking a picture of themselves with the wrapper and send it to LCC in Vermont.

“We wanted to do something extra in honor of our 35 years,” says Allyson Myers, director of sales and marketing. “The Sweetest Hits Sweepstakes prize is a collection of LCC’s ‘best of the best’- including truffles, Chocolates of Vermont, and Five Star Bars- signature products that LCC has been making almost since the beginning.  And the fact we have our founder Jim signing the wrappers himself reinforces the fact that we are a family business with hands-on owners.”

Daily updates will be posted on LCC’s social media channels so fans know how many wrappers are still out there.

Priced at $4, the limited-edition bar will be available for purchase starting September 15, while supplies last.  It can be found exclusively at Lake Champlain Chocolates’ retail locations on Church Street and Pine Street in Burlington, Route 100 in Waterbury Center, and online at www.lakechamplainchocolates.com.

The New England chocolatier has also announced the launch of  a new omni-channel website to enhance the consumer experience.

The timing of the new site positions the company ready to tackle the busy and important holiday season coming in just a few short months,” said Erin Douglas, ecommerce manager for LCC.

Douglas explained that nearly 60% of the company’s  online business transactions occur during the fourth quarter.

The LCC website offers the widest selection of products nationwide and consumers ordering online will receive the freshest product available. Plus, we guarantee the safe and timely arrival of the chocolates, which is essential during the gift-giving season.”
