Brazilian meatpacker JBS’ business unit Seara has built two websites to strengthen its brands’ footprint in international markets.

The two websites, Seara International and Seara Professional, will be launched initially as English and Portuguese language sites, with Spanish rolling out later this year.

Seara International will present the company’s portfolio across all of its main categories, such as chicken, pork and turkey cuts, as well its processed foods including nuggets, sausages and hamburgers. The site will also include an overview of its operational values and its focus on animal welfare.

Seara Professional will present much of the same information as Seara International, but will focus on the foodservice markets. However, this site will showcase Seara’s special range products for its commercial partners in other global regions.

Seara said the websites would help the company improve its communications with customers abroad.

Seara has been growing its share of the export market and the website launch is an opportunity to increase our visibility among international foodservice customers, as well as the many consumers who see our products on supermarket aisles around the world,” said Seara CEO Joanita Maestri Karoleski.

During 2018, Seara secured deals for its products in the Middle East and Asia. The business became the first Brazilian company to introduce 100% antibiotic-free chicken into Dubai, while it also secured trade with South Korea and China for its pork.

Seara’s products are widely known across the world and are available in more than 90 countries.
