The five-strong range is comprised of Incredible Burger which comes in two flavors; Incredible Empanado; Incredible Kibe and Incredible Oriental Meat.
It will be available in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro from the second half of December, and throughout the rest of Brazil in early 2020.
This line follows the launch of Incredible Burger, Seara’s 100% plant option and aims to strengthen its position in the vegetable protein market.
“The world is constantly changing. Today there is a new way for everything and with food is no different. The search for plant proteins is a reality and we want to be leaders in this segment,” said Seara Alimentos president Joanita Karoleski.
José Cirilo, executive director of marketing at Seara Alimentos, added: “We want to raise the perception of innovation and brand quality to another level, always connected to our DNA, with the differential of seeking the best flavor and offering excellent options to the market. The Amazing Seara Line brings a great novelty and inaugurates another new option in protein, available by the brand to the consumer – the way and in the variety he wants.”
The products have been developed using the Biomolecule i, which boasts “unprecedented taste and texture of meat” in plant-based products.
“The combination of Biomolecule i was developed with molecules and natural elements, added to the fermentation of ingredients existing in nature, which allows the stimulation of taste and olfactory receptors,” said Renata do Nascimento, PhD in Food Technology and R&D and innovation manager at Seara Alimentos. “It provides increased salivation, leaving taste buds totally free to receive and perceive new flavors, making the perception and flavor experience unparalleled, with even more exclusive and incredible suggestiveness.”
Incredible innovation hub
The business has also unveiled the Incredible Lab, a fully plant-based innovation hub which is responsible for the creation of Biomolecule i. This laboratory is designed to boost Seara towards food transformation, anticipating global trends and following the capacity of the world's most advanced foodtechs.
The Incredible Lab will be home major experts in tech and innovation while partnerships with Google and a committee of experts take care of research and fine-tune consumer taste demands.
Tannia Bruno, director of marketing, communication and research at Seara Alimentos, said the hub allows the company to act on four fronts: consumer, science, technology and gastronomy. “Technology is one of the ways to talk to the consumer and this unprecedented initiative aims to create solutions continuously in Seara and conceptions for projects and new foods made on the basis of plant proteins. Considering a collaborative launch of the Incredible Line, for which we will have constant monitoring of the transformations and demands of the consumer, a lot of good news will still come ahead.”
