Meat Sweats awarded to fast food-loving Arby’s customers
US fast food chain Arby’s is contributing to the festive spirit by giving away a limited-edition range of tracksuits emblazoned with stacks of delicious luncheon meats.

Sandwich chain Arby’s is handing out a limited number of eye-catching tracksuits to meat-loving customers. Dubbed ‘Meat Sweats’, those lucky enough to be given the meat industry’s answer to haute couture causal wear will not forgot the eye-catching fashion piece in a hurry.

Selected customers have been given a zip-up hoodie and matching jogging bottoms printed with huge pictures of the sandwich chain’s signature range of luncheon meats. The hoody and tracksuit bottoms have stacks of ham, bacon, brisket, corned beef, Angus steak and sliced turkey printed on them. When viewed in full, the wearer looks like a walking stack of luncheon meat.

The chain announced it would award a limited number of individuals across the country the meat-themed apparel over the Christmas holidays. But not just anyone can get one.

“Arby’s is choosing select carnivores nationwide who have shared via their social channels their feats of meat throughout 2017, such as conquering the brand’s famous Meat Mountain or smoking a slab of ribs to perfection,” the company said in a statement.

One Twitter user, describing himself as Mike Golic Jr, tweeting under the name @MGolicJR57, appears to have been one of the first people to receive the meat-inspired tracksuit. He tweeted a picture of the tracksuit on Saturday 16 December, implying it had been earned, not given to him.
