Square Roots debuts Spring Mix and Super Mix salads
Urban indoor farming firm Square Roots is expanding its retail presence with two new salad mixes (SRP $5.99): Spring Mix is made with a blend of kale, mizuna, and tatsoi microgreens with baby lettuce leaves, while Super Mix blends broccoli, kale, and cabbage microgreens with tatsoi leaves.
Both are grown at the company’s new farm in Grand Rapids, Michigan, said co-founder and CEO Tobias Peggs: “The greatest way that Square Roots can make a difference is to make locally grown, nutritious food available to millions of people in cities across America."
