Colomba cake and Easter Egg hampers
Birley Bakery’s executive pastry chef Vincent Zanardi and his team have been hard at work baking up the Colomba cake and this year’s basket of Easter Eggs in numerous playful shapes and sizes.
Available to purchase online or onsite in the heart of bustling Chelsea Green in London, the range includes:
- Mother Hen: 120g of 38% milk chocolate and garnished with chocolate surprises (£31)
- The Little Bunny: 50g of 57% dark chocolate (£12)
- Springtime Dark Chocolate Egg: 90g of 57% dark chocolate garnished with chocolate surpises (£24)
- Springtime Milk Chocolate Egg: 90g of 38% milk chocolate garnished with chocolate surpises (£26)
- Golden Crunch: 500g of milk chocolate mixed with roasted piedmontese hazelnuts, garnished with chocolate surprises (£98)
- The Laughing Rabbit: 1.2kg of milk chocolate garnished with two springtime dark chocolate eggs and other surprises (£200)
- Mother Hen and Her Chicks: 335g of 38% milk chocolate and 57% dark chocolate, garnished with chocolate surprises (£72)
- Easter Hamper: includes 120g Mother Hen and Her Chicks, The Little Bunny, Springtime Dark Chocolate Egg, Springtime Milk Chocolate, a medium Birley Bakery mixed chocolate box and three little bags full of chocolate surprises (£250)
- And last but no means least, the Easter Colomba: A classic Italian Easter Colomba perfumed with candied orange and Tahitian vanilla (£66)
A selection of Birley Bakery chocolate is also available all year round, created in Birley Bakery's own private chocolate factory in Battersea and packaged in boxes and pouches that emulate the bakery’s interior.
A special reserve of bitter chocolate – mixed with cacao beans from the Philippines and created specifically for Birley – forms the basis of the range of chocolates. Flavors include White Chocolate Lemon Matcha, Milk Chocolate Sesame, Dulce De Leche, Dark Chocolate Pistachio, Milk Chocolate Coconut, Dark Chocolate Peanut, White Chocolate Coconut, Milk Chocolate Hazelnut.
