Plant-based chicken tikka skewers
Swiss plant-based meat maker Planted is adding another SKU to its meat-free range: Chicken Tikka Skewers. The offering is made from pea protein and a marinade infused with cinnamon, coriander, cumin and curry leaf.
From a sustainability perspective, the product is ‘greener’ than its meat-based alternative. Compared, it produces 77% less CO2 and requires 85% less water.
Planted’s Chicken Tikka Skewers are available in Tesco stores across the UK.
